Valor Flight Academy brings structured Part 61 flight training to Willow Run Airport in Metro Detroit. Our approach centers on preparation, sound judgment and steady progress, whether you are learning for personal flying or pursuing a professional path.

You train in our Tecnam P2008 Mk II, registration N224US: a modern high wing training aircraft with Garmin avionics.

Willow Run Airport (KYIP)
Learn in a real airport environment.
Develop your skills in the setting of a towered Metro Detroit airport. From your first lessons you work with air traffic control and the procedures that keep a busy airfield organized.
Willow Run is a convenient drive from across Southeast Michigan. Students come from Washtenaw, Wayne, Oakland and Monroe counties, including Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Belleville, Canton, Plymouth, Dearborn and Detroit.
